If you haven’t joined the other 225+million users on LinkedIn, then this post will show you, in 3 simple steps!
Step 1 – Complete the sign up details
Navigate to www.linkedin.com and complete their sign up form.
You’ll need an email account that you have access to, either a personal one or work.

Enter:
- Your first name
- Your last name
- A relevant email address – you will need access to it, to confirm that you are genuine.
- A password – LinkedIn passwords need to be at least 6 characters.
Now click on [Join now]

Step 2 – Start creating your profile
In the next screen, select whether you are an employee, job seeker or student, then fill in the remaining details.
Now click on [Create my profile]

Step 3 – Logon to your email account
LinkedIn now ask you to logon to your email account.
This has 2 functions:
- it allows LinkedIn to identify people you know with LinkedIn accounts already set up
- it allows them to verify your account.
